When in a romantic relationship, sometimes we get the vibe that our partner has started cheating on us. This vibe can be a sudden absent-mindedness, a constant need to pick up fights with you, a new sentimental attachment to his, or her, mobile devices and personal computer.

You might even discover he, or she, has changed their passwords to social media accounts. Or they’ve started to wipe clean all histories, so that certain chat conversations which used to be there are no longer there. Or his PC’s history is always nicely blank these days, no cluster.

He, or she, gets into a panic when you come a hundred yards off their phone, and maybe even their PC.

All of the above could be as a result of just about anything. It doesn’t have to be about cheating. But your inner CIA-FBI antenna is on red-alert mode. Something tells you your partner is cheating on you. Your romantically-attached heart is pounding and dreading getting hurt. You need to know… and you don’t want to know.

If your partner is cheating on you, would you like to know? Are you one of those need-to-know people who hate to be left in the dark about what’s going on in their lives, or in their partner’s lives? Or are you a believer in the ignorance-is-bliss mantra?

To know, or not to know, which is it for you?

For me, I’d like to know. I don’t believe ignorance is bliss. I hate to be ignorant and blissful when there is obviously nothing to be blissful about. If he is cheating, I want to know and I will make sure I know… and I will know how to deal with it. That’s me.
