Welcome to March

Welcome to the month of March.

It is the marching month where we all march, like the Saints in heaven, into our different places of glory. This is a new beginning, a fresh start, a new chance to do something new. So, let us take advantage of God’s gift of life, love and family and do something unusual and new this month of March.

His Word tells us in Isaiah 40: 30-31: “Even the young shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (NKJV)

The key there is: Waiting on the Lord. Anyone can, and will, grow weary doing things on their own. But when we are walking hand in hand with God, He shall renew our strength and we will walk, run and mount, without growing weary.

For all March celebrants, He says to tell you: “The Lord will march forth like a mighty hero; he will come out like a warrior, full of fury. He will shout his battle cry and crush all his enemies.” (Isaiah 42:13 NLT)

The enemies of God are your enemies and your enemies are His enemies… so long as you have made Him your Lord and Father. So, worry not and fear not, for like a mighty warrior, He is marching forth to crush all your enemies. And your enemies include: failure, sickness, heartbreak, financial worries, childlessness, loneliness and marital delays… they are not just hell-bound people.

So… HAPPY NEW MONTH, everyone, and a GLORIOUS MONTH OF VICTORY to all March Celebrants. Enjoy every single day of this month with a gigantic smile on your face and should anyone ask, tell them: “God’s got my back like a mighty warrior.”

trailer: No Perfect Life

I am thinking another series. Something else to read. Something else new and different. Something to fill up the “Diaries” section of the blog. I started the “Diaries” posts way back on Alifediary with Keziah’s Diary. Which, by the way, I will be editing soon… and then decide what to do with it.

Good morning, folks. How’s the week coming along? Who found this place empty the last two days? Lmao. Been busy… in various ways *wink*.

So, something to occupy the Diaries category. Hey, don’t start going *rme* at me. I know I left Kiss Me If You Can uncompleted and also abandoned Margaret X. Now, KMIYC is going to return in 2 or maybe 3 years’ time when Emma would be all grown up and I can do something else with his kiss-phobia self. Lol.

As for Margaret X, it will return someday soon when I am mind-ready to resume writing it.

But this new series, it’s the real deal. No breaking. No abandonment.

It’s going to be a long series. Long-time, no-hurry, take-our-time series and it will come in a format akin to the LSDL short story. By that I mean, it will take the short-scene-titled format. Only in this case, scenes will be titled by the names of the protagonists.

Like LSDL too, it will be all straight-to-the-point. No dilly-dallying. Our goal is to follow the life-events of these protagonists. So, it will all be important-events based. No time for unnecessary wahala.

Another thing is that: EPISODES ARE GOING TO BE SHORT.

See how I put that in uppercase and bold format? That is because that part of this new deal is very important. Each episode is going to be short. So no go looking for a long read. We will stick to the point and keep it short. Reason is that I won’t have the time for long write-ups on this one.

A Realistic Fiction following the life of four Women.

Buchi Ugorji. Lade Balogun. Doofan Ambrose & Telema Amachree.

Four women whose lives tell different stories. We follow their struggles. We follow their pains. We follow their joys. We follows their triumphs. We go through the journey of their lives that proves that there is nothing like the “perfect life”. However “perfect” another person’s life seems, there is always a struggle there; and every life has its moments of joy and moments of sorrow.

This so-long-a-series begins Tuesday 28 February 2017.

Like our new posting time-schedule, it will be posted: 10 p.m.

Days of Posting: Tuesday. Thursday & Sunday.

I think it’s going to be a great, life-touching read. BUT if as we go along, I find it’s not something readers like, as was the case of KMIYC & MX where comments on both series were very scanty, I will halt posting and we’ll all forget about it.

So, NO PERFECT LIFE coming soon and its success and lifespan is all dependent on us all. I promise to do my part as Writer and I hope I can count on you all to do your parts as Readers.

Okay, that is. Onto something else…

Writers’ Guide 101 is returning tomorrow. And I am looking to make it twice monthly. That is, first Thursdays and last Thursdays of every month.

Remember: Let’s Talk Sex will be here Fridays and on Saturday mornings a new “talk” post will be taking position: All About Gist. All About Gist will be a recap of the week-long events. Anything at all, we… yes, WE (all of us) feel like sharing that happened during the week… or at any other time… we will “gist” ourselves about it.

Blovels is still Wednesdays & Saturdays Nights and at the moment, we are enjoying the love story of Shiloh & Jethro in My Heart’s Song.

That is it, people. Wishing you all a great day… and tune in tonight ten-ish for MHS.

Purchase Via Recharge Cards

Happy weekend, everyone.

This is just a short announcement for those who are having difficulties making purchases via the LS e-Store or Okadabooks and who are not also interested in offline bank transfer purchases. You can now purchase all our eBooks via a recharge card payment system.

I am yet to install the Zoranga Recharge Card Payment Gateway here on this blog but I have been receiving payment from buyers who text me recharge cards and give me a confirmation period of 15 minutes – 24 hours to have their recharge cards deposited into my Zoranga account before sending them the purchased eBooks.

So, you can now purchase my eBooks by sending me MTN recharge cards… I mostly prefer MTN cards. But you can also send AIRTEL recharge cards to: 08142300549 and along with your text message, send your email address.

Hope this makes purchasing our Premium Stories easier for now.

On the side, about MHS… I’m just writing today’s episode. So, it’s going to be another late post.

And seeing as I usually do my writing & editing (for publishing works), among other things, during the day, I think it’s better if Wednesdays & Saturdays story post days be scheduled for nighttime: between 9 p.m. & 11 p.m. Hope this works for everyone? It sure does for me.

All right, let me get back to work. Y’all continue to have a great weekend.

Get Your eBooks HERE. … Or give me call… or text *wink*

Re: on Schedules & Reviews

Good morning, people. Hope you are all having a great first working day. Nobody really likes Mondays, I think… except maybe workaholics. Lol.

Well, this very short post is on finally resolving the yesterday “Let’s Talk” post on Schedules & Reviews. I thank everyone… that would be the six blog readers who took their time to comment on the post. Thank you for giving your opinions and for your support. I appreciate them… and you.

I have, this morning, made a comment on the post requesting that no more comments be made on that post. I’m not sure if I’m expecting more comments on the post, but I wanted to dissuade any.

I have heard from the very few who commented and having re-thought my initial decision, I have made a new one.

I, first of all, realised that I may have been making an error in judgment concerning the number of blog visitors/readers Life and Spices.com has. Having, once again, listened to someone, and taking many factors into consideration, I now believe that it would be safe, and wiser for me in terms of blog growth, to assume that I have no more than a dozen active blog visitors/readers.

My assumption may or may not be correct. But taking that to be the fact on ground, allows me to get back to my drawing board and as I did with Alifediary, get working on building traffic, real traffic, for Life and Spices.com. It also saves me the hyperventilating mood of expecting “too much” of readers.

So, I have much, much much work to do… and it begins now.

Now, about the schedules & reviews. I am reinstating the original, or rather last updated schedule before yesterday’s “brouhaha”. So, it’s back to: Story Updates: Wednesdays & Saturdays.

And Reviews: I leave it to your discretion. I will not beg for it. I will not. But whosoever desires to rate & review my works wherever they are purchased, should do so and know that I appreciate their extra effort.

And that is that. I do hope that was “short” enough?

Wishing you all a great week and… tomorrow’s Valentine’s Day. Wonder if anyone is interested in showing me love?

Cheers, everyone.

Let’s Talk: Schedules & Reviews

Thank You.
